Is a trekking pole allowed as a mobility aid?

I have RA and use a trekking pole as a mobility aid when walking a lot. I will most likely rent an ECV for our upcoming trip, but will stand in lines in order to stretch and move throughout the day. I don‘t think it will be a problem, but want to be prepared with a Plan B, if needed. Here is a picture of what I have for reference.

I think as long as you leave the cover on the base it will be treated like a cane.

I believe they should be allowed. I found these threads from a couple of years ago on the same topic, and the general consensus was "yes" - but more importantly, I don't find that anybody came back to report they had any problems using the poles on their visit.

I am pretty sure I have seen them at the park a number of times.

I have seen them in the parks. They are not on the list of prohibited items.

I appreciate the responses. I did send an email to WDW Disability office to be safe. I am sure it’s fine, but would rather be safe than sorry. I will update with their response.

The Disability Office responded and said the trekking pole is allowed for mobility.
I did read two older threads asking, but they didn’t have official responses from WDW. Maybe this will help others.
