So I thought Id ask this on the budget board. Anyone who has been to cbr, is it worth it to get the preferred room location? My ds just turned 7. This is the first year I wont be taking the umbrella stroller, I barely used it last year(my ds did sit in it a few times when he got tired and fell asleep twice!) My mom is worried about the walk after being in the parks all day, I have requested Jamaica 45 or Aruba 51 as close to the food court as possible(I said food court because I didnt want them to make a mistake and put me near a quiet pool instead) would it be worth the extra $200. to get the preferred room???

It isn't worth it to me but I didn't have a 7 yr old to potentially carry.

I requested, and got, building 45 last summer. :cloud9: It was a 5 minute walk to the food court and a 2-3 minute walk (opposite direction) to the bus stop. We had a 9 yo, an 8 yo, and a 6 yr old in our party and nobody had any problems with the walk to either OPR or the bus stop.

Yes it is. I have a 6-year-old and would'nt stay there unless it was preferred. Worth the money to me. Stayed there this past May.

We stayed in Bldg 45 with a 7yo and a 3yo. Loved the location, the walk to the foodcourt was very short. We had a stroller with us, but the kids never wanted to be in the stroller at the resort. They preferred walking or running across the bridge and on the island. So my vote would be no. If we go back, we will be requesting the same building.

Thanks I am hoping for 45 or 51 the prefered rooms are sold out for my dates now.
