Is $99 one way cheap

Thank you for posting about the SW sale. I checked it out and we can fly direct for $99 each way. Our last trip my DH wanted to drive in 2011. Before that we always flew down with really great rates if anywhere from $49 to 79 each way. Since its been awhile since we have flown, I didn't know if 99 was about as cheap as it gets or not. For a family of six, a twenty dollar savings each way can add up quickly. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

YEs thats a great rate. I scored $88 each way from DC to Orlando and i check everyday and thats the best they are getting. They are now from $98 to $120. SO $98 is a good rate.

It used to be that I refused to pay more than $200 r/t for Boston to Orlando. Now? I jump on any fare that gets me there for under $275!! $99 is about as cheap as I've seen in recent years. I doubt we'll see those $49-79 fares again, any time soon anyway.

It is a good rate now the days of really cheap flights are over. I'm going to book my Sept flight now from Baltimore it's not going to get any cheaper.

Just be aware that direct and nonstop are not the same thing.

Oh get out, no way!!! Been a long time since I've looked at my coke rewards, this will save us some on our return trip, I really wish I had known about this yesterday, I would have had 79.00 one way tickets to MCO.

Edit-must be a round trip ticket purchase, wouldn't have helped me since we only booked one way, but definitely a great way to save!!

If you drink coke products, under the cap are rewards codes. Usually 3 points per cap and occasionally there are bonuses times where codes are worth 3 times their value. Rack up 100 points and you can exchange them for SWA $20 off code. Once you get the SWA code is has a short expiration date. Rewards point expired unless you add new codes every 90 days.

12 packs of soda are 10 points, so it might be worth it to buy some coke products real quick and set up an account! For your family of 6 it would be a $120 savings, plus you'd have drinks for a while!

$99 is fabulous. I had my Airtran round trip for Dec at $278. With the current Airtran sale, I called and received refund of $80 to my account, now $198. I doubt I will ever see below that.

Yeah, always pays to look at the fine print before clicking submit. I got two of these this morning before buying our SW flights. I always book one way. Doh! Couldn't use them on our flights. Grrr...

If you have Airtran, it can be one way.

Yes, you get an instant code that you just c&p into the SW site where it says "promo code".

Direct makes at least one stop, but you do not transfer planes. Non stop, is non stop, no stops.
