We are going to Sea World next week. Is one day enough to experience the park?

No. Unless you do opening to close with a $30 front of line upgrade, I don't see it happening in one day. Shows, Atlantis, Manta, Polar Express, feeding animals, Manta aquarium, and if you have kids add even more time for Shamu Happy Harbor. Any one day ticket will get you a FREE second day at the customer service booths. Don't get your ticket validated at front of park one, always a line there. Do the one not far from penguins and there is no line. The second day will only cost you the parking charge

No, especially in July. I would definitely do two days in the park. At night during the summer, Seaworld has special night shows which are different than the day shows. I would suggest doing half the park on day one. From Park open until 4 or 5:00. Then come back the 2nd day and do the 2nd half of the park from like 2:00pm-park close. It would be easier that way.

We've done it in 1 day a couple years in a row. We don't have little kids, just teenagers and it was from opening until closing each time. We would hit the rides first before the lines got to long then we planned our day with all the shows, cramming lunch and dinner in between and then when the crowds thinned out at nite we did the rides again. It works for us but its definetly a very full day.

We are a family of 4, my daughters are twin 14 year olds. We are planning to do the rides and a couple shows. We were thinking Blue Horizins and One. Are the other shows good? Are they worth the effort and time to see them?

You should be able to do more than 2 shows. Look at the schedules and see what you can fit in. I think they're all great, I'd hate to pick just a couple

If your only interested in seeing 2 shows, then yes you could fit it all in 1 day. If you have time, I would also consider seeing "Clyde And Seamore Take Pirate Island and the night Shamu show, "Shamu Rocks"

We covered all the shows and exhibits in 1 day. Of course we skipped the rides. My kids are too big for the kiddie park and too chicken for the big rides yet. We didn't rush and had plenty of time to have lunch, a few snacks and take in the sites. We didn't arrive at opening, but did stay until close. We were there this year on Memorial Day, so it wasn't uncrowded. The ticket line was our worse wait at over 30 minutes.

All of the shows have something fun about them. Honestly, my least favorite is Blue Horizons. And while it's probably not really "sea" themed, my kids love the Pets Ahoy show the best. It's full of cats and dogs and very cute and fun. The sea lions show is fun too, especially the night show. Try to make that one if you can only see them once. And no visit is complete without Shamu. I agree the Shamu Rocks is the better of the two, but we did do them both. My kids aren't satisfied their visit to SW is complete until they've been soaked by a killer whale. :thumbsup2

LOL....

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I agree with you, Blue Horizons was a little long I thought. The Sea Lion show and Pets Ahoy are our favs. But, my dd would want to go to SW just for the Pets Ahoy show alone, LOL!:lmao:

So would my mother. We see it at least 3 times a visit.

We will be going to Sea World in November, the day I want to go it is open from 10 to 6. Will this be enough time for us to see everything? There will be two adults. Or should we just plan on both days?

I would always plan on two days incase you want to see a show or exhibit again or ride a particular ride again. ;)

But in all seriousness, a 6pm closing in November means that it wont be very crowded. So you should be able to fit everything in one day if you want.

Went yesterday and just one day was plenty. We got there at opening, were able to do Manta 3 times, Atlantis twice and Kraken. We saw all the exhibits and rode the "helicoptor" to the arctic. We also saw the Sea Lion show (my favorite), the Dolphin show and the Shamu show. We left the park at around 6 pm feeling satisfied. Of course we didn't have little kids but I definitely think one day is sufficient if you can get there first thing in the morning.
