Thank you! Gosh, I didn't think so many here would think I was rude for slightly bumping the woman with her cart. There was no one ahead of her so she wasn't penned in, she just chose not to pull her cart ahead (which would be common courtesy) so I could start unloading my groceries as well. If I would have waited until she was completely finished, then I would have been holding up the line behind me as well.
But, doh! I keep forgetting this is the Dis.![]()
Accidentally? No!
Deliberately? Yes!
This isn't a DIS thing--it's common sense.
If you injured her--you would have held up the line even more.
The "common courtesy" thing to do...when someone is in your way...is to say "Excuse me, please. Would you...." Even my 2yo can do that.
I have nerve damage on my entire lower right side of my body from the hip down. Any kind of "accidental" bump to move me forward, no matter how light of a bump is was would cause extreme pain to me.
You can't tell by looking at me that I have this disability so you can't really assume that if you just "oops" bump a person to make them move you aren't gonna hurt them.
