Irons on Board????

Last time we took a cruise we had to bring our own iron. Just wondering if anyone knows if irons are in the rooms or on board? I know at all the Disney resorts they are in each room. Any idea? We can't wait. We leave the 29th of May!!!!

There is an iron in the laundry room. You are not permitted to use irons in the stateroom due to fire risk. If its just a few things just send them out to be pressed...much easy and pretty cheap.

So you cannot use them at all even if you bring one from home??? That is going to kinda be inconvenient to go to the laundry room every day. I have myself, hubby and three kids to get dressed. I may try to find out how much it is to have stuff ironed. I am glad I asked before we left. I would have been in a panic!!!

I believe that if you wanted to use your own you could use it in the laundry room...but not in your stateroom. I can't imagine ironing things every day on vacation though!

Normally I have to. When we are planning to go the parks or somewhere else. I go to the room and have an ironing marathon. I am thinking about ironing everything before we leave, packing carefully and just wearing it if it just has a few wrinkles. I guess eveyone else on the ship will be wrinkled too. If it is really bad I may just have it done. Thanks

NO... that is a Coast Guard regulation, not a Disney one... please keep yourself and all the other passengers safe... leave it at home!

Save those dry cleaning bags and use those to pack items in.

They work great and significantly reduce ironing needs! Trust me! DH and I travel a lot for work.
