I like the zoo, but I bet it's been over 20 years since I have been to one.

I have a membership to the Smithsonian National Zoo. While entry is always free, with the membership I get several free parking passes and grandson gets free rides on the zoo carousel. Plus some discounts and early access to special events. Went to a panda preview in January before it officially reopened (it was extremely cold that day!) and got to see the new young ones without huge crowds.

We are also members of the National Zoo and went to the panda preview. And members of the Maryland Zoo where we recently got to see the baby giraffe with a fundraiser sneak peak.
