O-kay, I'm very confused!! I just printed my designs and I was reading the directions to iron-on. It says not to use an ironing board...what do you use?:confused3

It also says to lay the shirt flat on top of a pillowcase...won't the design bleed through to the back of the shirt if you lay it flat instead of putting something between the front and back of the shirt?:confused3

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!:)

TIA

I use my wood desk with a pillowcase between the shirt and the desk. I have heard others say that they have used their countertop or dining room table. Just be sure that you are using something that will take the heat and not ruin the surface of what you are using.

No, the design will not go through to the other side.

The pad on the ironing board makes it a less-than-ideal surface. I use my kitchen table (protected for the heat, of course) usually. I have used an ironing board with a cutting board placed on top before. The absolute best would be if you have a coffee table. The lower height makes it easier for you to press down on the iron while you are ironing.

You are actually transferring the image from the transfer not just pigments, so there is no bleed through when ironing.

I have a 3ft x 3ft (approx) pc of wood. i just put it on the floor and cover with my pillowcase. I seem to get better pressure when its on the floor. Just an idea:goodvibes

That probably is a great idea! However, with a chihuahua and a boxer it might be more of an adventure. :rotfl2:

I wish I had a piece of wood, though, because my cutting board is not quite big enough.
