iPod Shuffle Help

My iPod Shuffle is acting strange. When I turn it on and push play - I get an error message (blinking orange and green lights back and forth). I tried to reset the shuffle with no avail. I tried to restore the shuffle back to the original factory settings, but I keep getting an error message - something about a filmware error. I really hope that doesn't mean what I think it means! I've only had this shuffle since Christmas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is a "fiRmware" error, not filmware, meaning you probably just need to update the iPod shuffle.

Sorry I can't help.

I just won my first iPod - it is a shuffle - but I haven't taken it out of the package yet. I am not sure what to do with it or where to start! Dh and I are kinda behind the times with technology!
