Ipod question

my library on all three computers is set to manage manually, that's not the problem.

I didn't think it was, but God forbid the BB techs listen to a silly woman; what could I possibly know 'bout these newfangled devices, right? Sheesh, they made me angry.

if you buy an ipod at a best buy and they service it, Apple will void your warranty if they aren't certified through Apple. they're morons.

I don't have a good answer to the OP. there's a history of ipods hanging on the 'do not disconnect' screen with no definitive answer. you can damage files on both the ipod and your hard drive if you dismount the ipod at the wrong time.

reboot your ipod while it's still docked with your computer and see if it clears up the problem.
