iPhone use in parks ?'s-apps and charger

For the charger, I really like my Mophie Juicepack Air. I've had them for my iPhone 3GS and my iPhone 4 and have no complaints. They fit like a case and have a switch that you can flip when you need to "top off the tank." I love it!

Thanks! I took a look at the Juice Pack Plus and the reviews thereof and just bought one. There is a savings code right now >Simple123< that saves 25%.

I like having a dedicated weather radar app. I paid for radarscope and use it all of the time at home and at Disney. It allows you judge the severity and length of the bad weather when you are at the parks. It also loads an icon at the top of your phone to let you know when its running in the background. All of the weather geeks like the App. But anyone can use the App.

My wife and I recently got iPhones and found the undercover tourist app. Downloaded it at the cost of $3.99 and have to say ... WOW!

this is awesome! Easily worth the money. I'd pay $10 for something like this. Just freaking awesome. We're sitting on the couch, both on our phones, getting giddy like schoolchildren at all the things you can do with it.

The friend finder, parking spot locator, and ticket memory (take a picture of your ticket in case something happens to it) are excellent features. We can't quit talking about our next trip now.

+1 for this app!

Some companies also make solar-powered iPhone chargers. They're pricey, though.

I drained my battery by mid-day so purchased the solar charger while in Hawaii at the Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu. It was pricey; $90.00. Came home and found virtually the same product on eBay: 2 for $36.00 with shipping included. All phones are 3Gs. We've used these over a year now and are very pleased.

The app I would suggest (and this is self-promotion here) is my hidden mickeys app (from kennedy marketing). I have a blast looking for them, and created a social app so you can share ones you find, and look at the ones submitted.

As for battery saving tips, the one thing I tend to do is to only turn on location-based services when I want to use them, and I don't check my email or text to help conserve battery life.
