Hey Guys,

What's your thoughts on the various apps out there for queue times etc. We are heading out beginning of May and have wifi in our villa, so hoping this could help out with our park choice for the day

Hi
A couple that I have installed are WDW Waits and UO Waits
Not sure how up to date the wait times are - I tend to use the in park info boards :thumbsup2

I have quite a few Apps.

2 Wait times ones, Undercover Tourist, and Lines. Both are OK, tend to have different times, but I just plan on using it for if we're in the hotel on days I don't have plans for, I'll have a look and see what park seems a good bet that day. :)

i wish they would bring more of these out for the andriod! i have a few but want more!!!

Hi - I use 'Lines' from touringplans.com

Its available for iphone and android and works really well. Predicted and current wait times for parks plus reported times from people actually standing in the queues.

I know its quite sad but I often sit at home at night and tell my DW which park is busiest etc.

Is this a free app or do u need internet access? I hv a few, the dining park hours and they are free

Any idea how much these apps cost to use whilst there?

I have been resisting the lure of buying an iPhone for a while (have never been able to justify the cost), but being able to use the lines app on one is too tempting for me to resist for next year, but I don't want to find out it costs megabucks for data download to use the apps whilst I am there.

I think (and hope) it would run off gps rather than data, so would be free?

You need an internet connection to use the majority of them.

And when you consider your provider charges you £6 per 1MB of data, Which is a kings ransom, You are better off just looking at the time boards, or just drifting around the park and queueing.
