I got the 5c last year to replace a samsung "not smart" phone. I had no issues with samsung as i have several products and they are great. I considered getting a galaxy but decided not to as we had been given mini ipads at work so the new iphone would go well with those. I love my 5c (its blue! 
) I havent had any trouble with it. I dont mind the small screen because I like a smaller phone. My only issue is battery life but as I have no other smart phone to compare it to I dont know if it is really bad as I think.
