I have an iPad and I'm bringing it with me--but not to the parks (unless the room's not ready the first day, then it might end up going and staying in my bag). It's just too bulky and fragile to take a chance with, and the pictures are not great at all--I'm bringing it primarily so I can FaceTime with my DH and son back home, but will be doing that at the resort at night.
I saw a few people taking pictures with them when I was there in August, and thought they looked pretty silly--it's really impractical. But as long as they're not in my way or interfering with my enjoyment of the day, I couldn't care less. It's their expensive equipment they're risking, not mine.
