I would like to try there. You must be talking about going to the Earl of sandwich for your downtown disney sandwich right? I love that place almost as much as I love the cheddar cheese soup at le cellier. Yumm. I think it must be lunchtime. I'm getting hungry.
I must see if I would like that.Sounds good! I love the muffaleta sandwich at Riverside Mill, they had nice choices there! I have been wanting to go back to LeCellier forever!
I will be doing the dining plan again.
Of course this plan might change but it might not with the shorter amount of time to think about it and my mind is on Europe so this might actually keep.
Day 1
CS meal
This could be at Ray's or Pinocchio's.
Day 2
CS at Riverside Mill
Lunch at Le Cellier (Maybe with others for an Enchanted meet)
F&W fest for dinner.
Day 3
Donalds breakfast at Tusker House
CS at Flame Tree (I have yet to eat here)
Ip-Dip at 'Ohana
Day 4
CS at Riverside
Maybe a sandwich at DTD.
Dinner at home or at airport if delayed.

I can taste that soup already. MMMMM
I must see if I would like that.
The chicken at Flame Tree is so good! So is the cornbread. And they have a big fruit platter that is very refreshing on a hot day, too.
And I have to just say, "Nanny, nanny, boo boo!" and "Blah-de-blah-de-blah!" and every other third-grade phrase in existence to Nicole for rubbing it in our faces that she is a whole three hours away from Disney World!!! I think it is time to give that girl a good thrashing!
Love ya lots, Nicole, but you're killin' me here!Makes me want to be back living in St. Pete again so I could just run over for Saturday day trips whenever I wanted.
copy cat.I am just going to copy and paste this, tweak it a little, and put it in my next PTR installment ok? Thanks for doing all the typing for me, you are such a great friend
. Or I might just put a link "SEE HERE" and link it to your post
.
I will have to find the recipe. We have the recipe for the lobster soup at Coral Reef, I can't wait to make it one day.mmm I love the soup too, even though I have yet to eat there! My friend who is a yearly Disney goer gave me the recipe to make this soup, if it's as good as the recipe at the restaurant than I will for sure look forward to going there and having a nice steak or something with it! mmm any other suggestions what to eat at Le Cellier?
Hi,Scottny; your trip report sounds great so far, We are going in Sept to for our 2nd trip...I can't hardly wait! I am hoping to make it yearly or every other year, I love it! I have always loved Disney stuff, but now that I have been there and actually been on vacation (not like my first 1.5 day trip to WDW) I want to go back more, it's just so magical being amongst it all!
I want to try there, never been. The chicken at Flame Tree is so good! So is the cornbread. And they have a big fruit platter that is very refreshing on a hot day, too.

No but the kids did in January when I went. I think Biff did too. I am addicted tot he burgers at Disney. I have no idea why.Have you ever done the Create Your Own Pasta at Riverside Mill???? Yummmmmm!
Come on up and we will travel together and then you can do the ME. It is a lot of fun.Haha! I think its one of those grass is always greener things! As much as I always say I will, I never just wake up and decide to go! But I would love to live farther away just so I can experience ME! I want that feeling of touching down in MCO that everyone always gets!!
And Neener neener back, MeMom you were there just as much as I was last year!![]()
Thank youYour ADRs look great!
This has me puzzled.![]()
I am thinking I am going to drive down. Leave Thursday the 8th and see if Rob and Kymmie (Happy Birthday Kymmie) want me to pick them up and then get to Disney in the morning.
Now, if I drive by myself I will most likely stop in Georgia at a hotel and then get up early and be at Disney early. I am in no rush to get there early, that is the night of the Halloween party so I do not plan on any parks that day but I would not mind going to DTD and doing the balloon.
Now I just looked at flights
Jetblue = $384.20
Now driving here are the results.
Start City: NY, New York City
End City: FL, Orlando
Round-Trip:
2166 Miles
77.36 Gallons Used
$164.64 Fuel Cost
$220.00 less than flying. That is a lot of Lapu's and Grey Goose Slushy's I could have.
So this is my dilemma and it will not resolved anytime soon unless airfare goes down drastically.
Stay tuned. I will update once I know for sure but driving down does sound the better way to go.
Hey Scotty -
I am taking my girls on the same ABD trip in June. Have you read KLondon's trip report? It is really very good. It is on one of the ABD disboards.
Also, before you decide to drive such a long way, you have to calculate the wear & tear on your car as well as the cost of food while driving and the cost of the hotel if you overnight in Georgia. Just a thought. My ex - not DH always wanted to drive and I hate driving if its more than a few hours so I always figured ways to make the flying not only look cheaper but BE cheaper!
And thanks for the definition of Ip-Dip. For the life of me I couldn't figure it out! Since I'm not a Disney pro - I sometimes have to google the abbreviations to know what everyone is talking about!!!

Hey Scott. I noticed when you last posting on my TR that you had started one. I hadn't heard you were going agian. Fantastic. Maybe you can check out TSI since it has been 17 years.
Not to rub it in, but we are a little over an hour away and I feel the same way. Miss riding the ME and even the buses at the parks.
What is ABD?
I don;t mind driving. I could be in a car for days and be happy. It is a brand new car so not to worried about it as it will mostly be used for grocery shopping otherwise. Food wise would be McDonalds.
Ip-Dip is a special term made up by Buzz (he is no longer here as he was banned but his memory lives on) about the things people do while they are there.
thank you.Good luck with the moving!!![]()
I can do it 17 hours straight. I would not stop to sleep.Hey Scotty - Thanks for the welcome!!you are a much better person than I if you can sit in a car for days - i so hate it!!! I am dreading the drive from San Antonio to Tallahassee in August when I have to take my "baby" to college. Thankfully I get to fly back. And McDonalds?
LOVE IT!!
ABD is Adventures By Disney. This will be our first one. Most of the posts on the ABD board are positive, unless people are talking about cancellations which apparently happened more this year than ever before. Our trip was scheduled for June 22 but they canceled that one and put us on the June 15th departure. Worked out for us so and we are so excited!!![]()
ThanksHope the move goes smoothely
Hey Scott!!
Boy, I am late joining in, but I am here now!![]()
