Hi there! I'm used to going to Universal in September and April, so I'm not really experienced in summer crowds. I have some family members going down the first week of August and want to spend 1 day at both the parks. My uncle has zero patience, so I'm wondering what the general crowds are like. They won't hit the major rides (except for Forbidden Journey). I have a list of items I want from Hogsmeade, but I know he won't wait in line to get in a shop. Any idea what it will be like that week? Thanks!

It's going to be crowded and very hot and humid. Wait times will be at least approximate 45 minutes minimum. Tell them to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade whenever possible.

Yeah, I would have to say that August is NOT the ideal time to go with someone with zero patience, as they will definitely have crowds, especially in WWoHP, and fairly long wait times. Can they stay onsite so they get in the hour early and get express? The stores will be crowded, but likely not have lines to get in with the exception of the wand shop, which pretty nearly ALWAYS has a line, as it is an attraction.

Thanks for the replies. I pretty much figured its going to be a nightmare. They won't be staying onsite (mostly because its so freakin expensive!), but I did suggest to my uncle that he get an express pass as its really only him doing the rides. They'll be spending more time at Seaworld as I think it would have more for my 7 year old cousin to do.

Thanks again for the responses. I think as long as my aunt keeps my uncle fed and well watered, like most men, he'll be happy :thumbsup2
