Hello! How will the crowds be at IOA in mid-January? We are going for the day and can't decide whether to just do the one park or two parks/one day ticket??? Will we even have time to see both parks. I understand the hours are more limited in January. Also, we hope to spend a good amount of time at WWoHP. Input is greatly appreciated:thumbsup2

Also.. How is the walking distance between the two parks? (You can make comparisons to Disney Parks, but we have never been to Uni yet)

There are no two parks that are as close together at WDW as at Universal. It is under a 5 minute walk between the two parks.

It should be very uncrowded in mid January. You can always start with a one park ticket and then just upgrade at Guest Services if you wish to do the other park too.

We always go in January, but we do avoid the weekends. The walk between the two parks is barely a stroll. We generally start at US then around noon we leave and eat somewhere in City Walk, then afterwards head to IOA.
