So My DF and I just started to look at invitaions and OMG there are waaaayyy to many options out there. But aside from that since we are having a destination wedding I figure we may have to put a little more info than if you were having a wedding at home. What are some things that you have done or included for your wedding invitations?? Any suggestions would really help.

Thansk!!!

We are sending informative save the dates (I just posted them in my PJ today if you want to see), and keeping a website going with very detailed info. By the time the invitation comes, it will be normal information given, and then we will give welcome bags to everyone that they will get at check in. We are going to include a timeline and a type of newsletter with the info on the website for them to reference, as well as a little more info for them to get around. Hopefully they will have more info than they actually need! :goodvibes

We sent save the dates around a year out with a whole planning guide. It had a lot of info on planning a Disney vacation. Then we sent out an email to our guests when Disney announced the free dining promo and we gave them info on how to book it, etc. With our actual invite we sent the invite, a reception card, a card with directions and info on the transportation we've chartered, info on the welcome gathering we're having, and finally an RSVP that included a spot where they could let us know if they planned on using the chartered transportation or not.

Thank you, both of those answers help A LOT!! I will keep this page bookmarked, lol!! :dance3:
