Invitation help

Hi- I am freaking out - The invitations that I was hoping to get is not really working out and my time is beginning to tick away. My june/july is so busy that i have no time at all and now I am not sure what to do now. I emailed today Impressions but have not heard back from them yet and i know they will be so high- I spent a ton on my veil today and really thought that after 4 emails over the last 3 weeks that and a phone call yesterday that I would hear something today-

I had looked forever trying to find something in invitation books, and I have not found anything that I like....can anyone help me, I am about ot have a meltdown-

we bought our invitations from alltheinvitations.com through birchcraft it cost us about $330 for all the invites, reception cards, additional card with travel/hotel info & all the envelopes. there located in florida but emailed & faxed everything to me promptly & i got the invites in less than 3 weeks. i was very pleased with our invites & their service.

I worked with Angel & she can do rush jobs if need be. She was VERY reasonable, my invites (chic bow was the name at the time but now they are called chandlier) plus reception, dessert party cards & RSVP's were just under $100 for 30 invites.

Don't have a meltdown! It will be OK!! I got my invitations through Impressions. Shelly was acutally a pleasure to work with. The invitation stressed me out since I was doing them over the internet and I could not proof an actual copy (just over the internet) All of the people at work told me not to stress because people just read and toss them and don't pay attention but they turned out to be fabulous! I was so happy with them, and everyone that i sent them to thought so too!

I used theamericanwedding.com . I was perfectly happy, but I had fairly low expectations.

We also used Shelley at Impressions and she was amazing. Well worth the cost b/c she took care of everything. We also paid to have her address, stamp, stuff, and send the invites. I only had to get her the names and addresses...she took care of the rest! We were able to see our actual invite before she sent them out.

If you go with Shelley, I highly recommend the addressing service b/c it will save you a LOT of time and stress!

We did end up with carlson craft invites that I know you can get from other sites for up to 35% off...but in the end, time/stress=money. Which is more valuable to you? I fully trusted Shelley and had great e-mail and phone communication with her.

Good luck! I was totally stressing about our invites. I think we ordered them in June to mail by July 15 for an RSVP date of August 15 for our Sept. 23 wedding...

Hi Thanks everyone for your help- I had planned on custom invitations and now I am in a mess because I am not sure that I will ever get them. I wanted something beachy and I have looked all over- but I also wanted a touch of Disney. I do ot really want a Cinderella Invitation or the Mickey - I liked the one that Impressions did w/ the star and sparkles and mickey ears. I called her and emailed them today and have not heard back yet.

I worked for a shop that dealt w/ Carlson Craft and I was the one in charge of the invitation stuff so there is nothing that from them that I am wild about since they all kind of seem overdine to me now, since I have looked at them so much. I have not given up yet--

I hope she gets back to you and you get the Mickey pixie dust invites! We loved those so much and almost got them. Had we the extra $$...those would have been it for sure! Of course, we would have needed 80 invites and it would have been ridiculously expensive. If you need less, I'm sure it will be more doable...

I work for a resaler in AL but find one locally or you can always have a custom made one. Your yellow book should have something under printers or promotional items or even your copy store. I know a local boutique that carries imprinted stuff. Also, office supply places, target and scrapbook stores have the make your own kind. hope this helps.
