We got married last sept 8 at Sunset Pointe at 5pm it was beautiful. I had Randy for my pics and he was wonderful. I traded the Disney photography for a honeymoon session at MK for $50. You have plenty of time to plan it takes a little time after you book to get the packet. STVS did our video and had no problem with wind noise. We ate at 1900 fare afterwards and all the characters made a big fuss. We got really cute pic. Good luck and if you have any ? about sunset point just ask.
Hi We've got our ceremony booked for Sunset Pointe on November 15 2005 - no time confirmed as yet - or offered for that matter and I've booked through Virgin!
We were umming and ahhing about the location as I wanted the WP but there are only 9 of us, and I wanted an informal ceremony - so we decided the WP would be too big and too formal so chose Sunset Pointe.
however I went dress shopping on Saturday and the informal wedding is now out of the window as I am wearing a full on "princess" meringue dress and the boys will need to wear suits!
So now I'm thinking... should I try and get the WP after all... What do you all think - WP v Sunset pointe - I see that you were married in a big (beautiful) wedding dress - what made you choose Sunset pointe? How many guests did you have? Would you recommend it?
Has anyone had an intimate at the WP? Did it feel too big?
And also does anyone know where the cake reception is held - and whether you get to have a "first dance" or if it's just a quick eat cake/drink champagne - get out of there reception. The booklet said the ceremony lasts 15 mins but didn't say about any other timings...
Sorry about all the questions, but now I have my dress it's finally sunk in that I'm getting married and now I'm panicking! Up until now I've been having a whale of a time organising my Disney holiday and not really thinking about the actual wedding day!
