Intimate Wedding - Champagne reception/Cake Cutting @ GF

We're getting married 20th April 2005. We are having an intimate wedding in the Wedding Pavillion, followed by Champagne and Cake Cutting at the Grand Floridian. Does anyone know what the terrace area is like for the champagne receptions and how long can you stay there.

Also does anyone know how long the violinist and Event manager stay at the cake cutting?

Following that - We've hired the Fireside Room in Victoria and Alberts. Does anyone know what this is like?

The terrace area is very nice, not too large, but the perfect size for just a few people. Your cake table will be set up at one end, tables and chairs at the other, with a little room for dances (if you choose to have them) in between.

The violinist and our coordinator stayed for the entire reception (I think it was around 20-40 min.). I think the amount of time you spend there depends on whether or not someone's using it after you. DH and I walked up there later in the week when it wasn't set up for any weddings, and we just hung out for a while - it's not like it's roped off when it's not being used.

We actually had dinner in the private room at V&A - not as a private event, but we were seated next to the fireplace this past Nov. I asked if this was the "private room" that can be used for wedding receptions and was told that it was. It's a really nice room, and we had such a good time.

we have booked the private room at V&A does anyone have any photos or asny tips on this? Is there anything special i can do there? Also has anyone else been? if so what was it like?
