My family and I will be arriving at Old Key West next week, forSpring break.Has anyone found an internet Cafe nearby? I need to check emails every now and then.If not,do any of the nearby Hotels(disney or otherwise) have inexpensive access?
Thanks

I think there is access at DQ but I haven't used it. Most of the hotels have a company that provides internet access, faxes and the like. I know for certain the ones in the Disney Village do. The cost is $10 for the first 15 minutes but I don't know the charges after that.

There are large AT&T phones that can be found where there are banks of regular pay phones (in hotel lobbies and in the parks). You can check your email through these phones for $1.00 a minute--cash or credit card. (There's a keyboard attached.) I used one during my last trip and was happy with the performance and with having access to email.

There is internet access right at OKW. It's located in the foyer of Olivia's Cafe. There is free access for Disney sites and you can use a credit card to access other sites and to check email.

Enjoy!

Your best bet(and cheapest) would be to use the Kinkos close to DD.They only charge $12 per hour, with cable modem

.It is open 24 hours also and it is only a 5 minute ride from OKW if you have a car.

Directions to Kinkos..... after you pass DD and heading towards CrossRoads Plaza, turn left on 535(at McDonalds

), go 1/4 mile down and it is on your right. It is right next to Tony Romas Restraunt.

I have used the one at Disney Quest. It takes a little getting use to but it has a great price - Free if you are already in DQ with your kids (I have 2 kids - one 8 year old and one 37 year old.)

If you don't mind exploring public libraries frequently offer internet access. I paid $5 to use one for a week on a recent trip to Universal. Otherwise...I'm happy to hear about the Kinko's route because $10 for 15 minutes or $1.00 a minute would quickly add up to a Disney Quest annual pass. The Celebration library doesn't allow adult non-resident users and we couldn't find any of the other libraries.

Internet Cafe....Now that is a business Disney should put into DD. Or one of the non-Disney hotels or restaurants should do it since this wouldn't help Disney very much.

There are internet stations located adjacent payphones near the lobby in all deluxe resorts. These cost 25 cents a minute with a minimum $1 charge.
