Is there an Internet Cafe at Disney World? I'd like to check e-mail and get online for small amount of time. Would rather not pay $10/day for hi-speed access in my room or lug my laptop with me.

The Dolphin has a 24 hr business center. I went there last trip. You'd be better off going with the $10/day. I think I spent about $20 and it wasn't even a whole hour. They also have business centers at CR and CSR, but they have limited operating hours.

This would require taking the laptop...

but I "went to school" while taking classes at the University of Phoenix Online while staying in a Disney resort.

I used an ISP called Slingshot. It's kinda like a pre-paid calling card, but for dial-up Internet access. It costs about $10 for 840 minutes of local access (and there is one for the Disney area). You pay $0.75 per call for the local access call, then surf! You can buy their CD at some retailers (see the website), or download their software from the website and sign up then.
