Internet at Vero Beach

Have they done anything to improve internet access at VB? The last few years they have had one PC available, BUT you had to have a dail-up ISP. Being a Comcast cable guy, I couldn't get access.

We were just there in early May, and they still only have the one PC you pay for 30 minutes of internet time for.

They provide a terminal that is connected to the internet or you have to have a dail up ISP?

It's a terminal connected to the internet. I think it was $5 to $10 per half hour. One note. You can't view any attachments. That was the whole reason we paid for the time, but found out during that they have disabled the viewing and downloading of attached files.

So I take it that there is no in-room internet access?

That's correct, unless you want to use dial-up. I believe someone at the front desk mentioned a Panera (sp?) Bread in downtown Vero that was set up for wireless.
