Internet Access

Is there a printer attached to the computers that are for internet use? My husband needs to conduct business while on board (that's what you get by being the owner). It is cheaper to get the unlimited internet access than to receive a fax at $6.95 a minute/per page.

Yes, and if I remember correctly - it was .25 cents per page to print........but I don't think I was charged at all (I only printed out one page) - I purchased the unlimited package due to a family medical crisis we had on our adventure......but didn't end up using it very much!

Yes you can print and I think the cost is the 25 cents per page. It used to be every time you were finished it would print a receipt even if you were on the unlimited package (you weren't charged for that printing but it was a waste of paper). Now it asks you.

During the busiest times there is someone there to help you.

Where/how do you sign up for unlimited internet access? I think it's around $89 or so for the week.

Our DD (17) will be taking an accelerated online Latin course that begins mid-week of our cruise.

Although it is "unlimited", you have to really think about your use.

If your daughter plans on taking this online course, and doing the work during off-peak times, that's fine. But if she plans on spending 2-3 hours at the computer during peak times when there is a line, that would be rude.

Also you should check, the computers have the sound turned off, and if her class will require audio, it's not going to work for you.

While I appreciate your reply, I feel if I'm paying for unlimited use, that's exactly what I would expect to be able to do.

Her course begins on Wednesday of the cruise week, so it will only really be 3 days and then we're back home again. She'll be on it for whatever time she needs. If she doesn't want people "breathing down her neck", then she'll plan on coming in "offpeak" times.

And on both of the Disney cruises we've already been on, I never saw a line for the computers at all...

Just my two cents worth. My daughter had unlimted use and many times couldn't get a seat in the place. She went really late at night. When I was sleeping she was typing......
