International gateway after illuminations...

My hubby thinks we need to use the IG to walk to the BC after illuminations. From here we plan to catch a cab to POFQ> He wants to do this because of the crazy crowds and line for busses!
So questions?

1) How do we get to the main lobby for a cab. Are there signs directing us to BC on the IG?

2) Any idea how much a cab from BC to POFQ will cost?

3) Where can we watch illuminations from to get both a god view and a quick escape to the international gateway??

I would watch on the bridge between Great Britain and France... that is the exit of the IG.

Cab will cost 10-15. The lobby won't be hard to find, though I have not been there......

You certainly could do this, it's about a 5-10 minute walk and it'll be your first resort on your right after exiting IG. You can't miss it, you go right thru and out the lobby and can catch a cab right there. By the way, if you had any intentions of getting ice cream at Beaches and Cream, this is the worst time to go, it's packed.
