Interesting info from MS.

I believe none of the boardwalk view rooms are smoking. I think the smoking rooms are at the end of the second floor, I know the end by the parking lot is smoking.

I stayed in a smoking Boardwalk View room. It may have been changed over since. This was 18 months ago.

We have an early flight in on Sunday, hopefully on time. We were going to stop to eat after the airport and prior to going to BWV, but now I am going right to the resort in hopes of getting a good view. Any chance of getting a boardwalk view, or are they always preassigned? MS told me today that I might get lucky, but as of now no boardwalk views.
We are staying in a studio by the way. Hopefully a non smoking non handicapped one. I heard the beds are very uncomfortable in the handicap rooms because we aren't used to them. Does anyone know if this is true?

Boardwalk views are actually reserved when you make a reservation, not a request. You could have waitlisted.

We found the mattress in the HA in need of replacing, but we didn't notice it was different than any other mattress. I found it comfy - my husband (who is a picky mattress guy) felt he was sleeping in a indent. But we went through three expensive matresses in the first eight years of marriage because a mattress only lasts a few years for him before that "indent" causes him problems.
