Can anyone help? My family and I are planning a huge trip. It will include a stay using our DVC points (for the first time) and a Disney cruise after. I was able to get insurance on the cruise. We have a family members who's health is not that good. It is one of those you never know from one day to the next. Is there any insurance to help out if we need to cancel our trip or need to leave early? I just want to cover all the bases.

I was in a similar situation. What you need specifically is insurance that covers pre-existing conditions. Many policies will not include coverage if the cause of your claim existed prior to buying the coverage. I had asked fellow DISers for information regarding trip insurance withOUT pre-existing condition exclusions.
