I realize I was stupid, but ...
When I booked our WDW trip we didn't get cancellation insurance.
We're leaving in 15 days, and now I'm kind of panicking that we should have gotten it.
I've called a few places, but it seems like we're out of luck.
Does anyone know if we can still buy cancellation insurance now?
 
Usually cancellation insurance need to be bought around the time the trip is purchased (something like 15 days afterwards max), so you are probably be out of luck now. Most companies would think that wanting to purchase insurance at such a late date is a sign that you intend to cancel. But really, why else do you feel the need to buy this when you're almost at departure date? Chances are slimmer something like illness or death will come up in the next 15 days, than they were when you originally booked the trip.
 
It turns out that for a premium you can get last minute cancellation insurance.
Manulife Financial was able to cover us from today till we get back.
It was more than I wanted to pay, but the whole Conquest thing kind of freaked me out. And, we're flying Air Canada - so you just never know.
