Can I just make one payment? I'd like to have our room paid for when we arrive, but want to make small payments along the way. Did a search but couldn't find anything... Don't want DH to freak out upon arrival. It took me weeks to get him to agree to stay onsite this trip...

TIA!

You can send money all along and it will be applied to your account.

You can send a check to the address on your confirmation or a money order. You can also call CRO and have a payment added to a credit card. Don't send cash....that's never a good idea. I decided once that I wanted the room paid for before I went so I just called and finished paying for the room with my credit card.

There should be an address for payments on the back of your confirmation. I can give you mine, but I think they go to different places depending on where you live, because my payments are mailed to a P.O. box in Atlanta, where I live. I've been sending payments since I booked our June trip back in January. I should have it paid off next week! :cool1:

In "Mandyland" (which we all know is a nice place to visit, but you don't want to spend a whole lotta time there) I'll have it all paid off, then hit DH up to upgrade to WL, since it would only be a "little bit more"... :cool1:

I might just call CRO and see if they can apply one payment. I need to activate my new Southwest card, anyway...

I always pay off our rooms long before we arrive. I ususally just make one big payment. I call the 1-407-WDISNEY number and give them my check card number. Of course I have to be careful to make sure that the charge is correct and goes through.

OK...I just called and made one night's payment posted to my VISA card! Then I'll just make a payment to that tomorrow. That's two nights down!

Thanks, all!!

That's wonderful! Sounds like you have a good start to a GREAT vacation!

After I make my initial room deposit that is required, I always send in weekly payments! :)

I usually get my room paid off and then I keep sending payments anyway until a week before we arrive. That way, there is a credit on my account and the park tickets are paid for!! :) Then all I have to do is take spending money!

One good tip for those who do this though...JUST IN CASE--- take all your cancelled checks/credit card statements and reciepts with you! One time WL didnt have almost 700.00 credited to my account (some computer glich) and I had all my cancelled checks with me (PHEW!) so it took em just a few to find the transactions!

And since my resort/tickets are already paid for when I check in, I HAVE A MUCH BETTER VACATION for some reason. AAAAhhhhhhh!

I go straight to the Disney site and plug in my confirmation # then hit "make a payment". The money comes out right away and I can keep an eye on my totals. Plan to have the package paid for WAY before we actually go. But heres a question. If I keep making payment over and above the package total, will this be applied to my room "credit"? I'd hate to think I've got $1000 sitting in my room account waiting for me when I get there just to have them tell me it will be refunded to my credit/debit card 8 weeks AFTER my trip. I'm almost scared to do that. I guess I should just save the money and take it with us. Comments? :goodvibes

I tried to do this on the Disney web site but it got all funny and the text all runs together. It's probably because I'm on my Mac at work, and "the work gods" don't want me to have fun while I'm here or even think about vacation.

Plus, isn't the "my vacation" part a BETA test?

YES! That's what I was wondering!! Thank you!! :cool1:

We used to send extra money to the room for a credit but it got really messed up last year. Had booked 2 rooms - one for us and one for 2 brothers-in-law. Right before vacation had to cancel brothers-in-law's reservation. We had already paid for both rooms (actually the package 7 for 5). CRO told me that my room would have a nice credit when we got there. We had also sent an extra $500 for spending and they told me that would also be on the account. Well, when we checked into concierge, they said there was no money on account and if I had paid extra, it would be sent back to me the way it was sent in. We weren't too happy as CRO told us otherwise and it took a lot of work by a manger but we ended up getting the money as a credit. Tough way to start out vacation - spending an extra hour or more getting this straightened out. So I would make sure you can do that.
