Instacart - US billing address required?

I'm trying to place an Instacart order for Tuesday and the site is only allowing US billing addresses. I emailed customer support and they said the same, I need a US credit or debit card to place an order on their US site.

However, I've seen multiple posters successfully place orders as mentioned on this board - are you guys using American credit/debit cards or is there a workaround?

Update - I just tried using my Canadian PC Mastercard with the first line of our address + Beach Club zip code and it seems to have worked? I can see the $75 hold as a pending charge on my PC account online so it looks like I went through. Just in case anyone else is facing the same issue!

Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. I'll update once we receive with how it worked out. I see a lot of comments regarding the shopper calling/texting with updates and we won't have a US data plan (I have a corporate plan that doesn't allow me to add on the $6/day international roaming) so I'm a bit nervous about the logistics especially as we ordered some alcohol we will need to show ID for.

Also, it worked out to be fairly reasonable for delivery as I found a random $10 off referral code on a blog and if you upgrade to their annual express subscription right now they waive the delivery fee. I cancelled the subscription right away. If you need a referral code PM me (full disclosure it gives me a $10 credit as well but we aren't planning any other US trips for a long while, so I won't be using any credits received - just happy to make it easier if you need one!).

Got our Publix Instacart delivery today at Boardwalk. Everything went smoothly. They sent a few text messages to update me on their progress. It was cheaper by a very significant margin compared to our Garden Grocer order last December. In the instructions, I specified my arrival date, reservation #, and asked that it be left with Bell Services. When ordering I used Boardwalk’s address (obviously), and for credit card billing zip code, I used the numbers from my postal code with two zeros at the end. Everything I ordered was correct and I see no reason to use any other service going forward.

I cannot believe how much cheaper it is than Garden Grocer. We are getting our January order ready on Instacart and it is significantly cheaper than our Garden Grocer order from last year. You can also get items from Costco and a way better alcohol selection.

I was able to use Apple Pay (with a Canadian credit card/billing address) to pay for our Instacart order last May!
