(inspired by wedding threads) What month were you proposed to?

Oh man you guys, I passed over this thread yesterday but decided to open it today because I thought there might be some great proposal stories and I wanted to hear some of them. I personally don't have a great proposal story, my dh kept mentioning getting married for weeks and then one day he said "I've got something for you" and it was an engagement ring (a very beautiful one). He gave me the ring in Feb. and we were married in Aug.
So those of you that had creative, funny, or unusual proposals please speak up, I want to hear about it!
