(inspired by wedding threads) What month were you proposed to?

February 2, 1985.......Groundhog Day.......I knew he had a ring and I requested that he not choose Valentine's Day as I wanted a day on it's own to remember our engagement......well, I'll never forget Groundhog Day!!!

Proposed to February 11, 2000

Married December 28, 2002

We had discussed marriage before since we were living almost 200 miles away and it was getting hard to maintain a relationship, but the official proposal...ring and all...came on March 3, 1984 and we got married August 25, 1984.

February 14th!!

We got the ring March 29th. We planned on getting married the next February 14th, but we couldn't wait...so, we got married June 29th:D That was almost 18 years ago!!!

DH proposed to me 3 times. Each time with a ring. So twice I had to get up the nerve to break it off and return the ring. I just had to be sure...I know everyone thought I was nuts. (no comment, Dan ;) ) The first time was on my birthday (Feb. 12) and I can't remember the other two.

:o

Two other guys proposed to me. One I had dated for 4 years. He asked several times w/o the ring. He was a lot of fun and a great friend but I didn't want to marry him. We were young...
The other guy asked me in the month of June.

They were all great guys. I was one lucky girl to have met such wonderful young men. :)
These were the only 3 guys I ever really dated.

I hope my DD doesn't go through all the drama and emotion I did. I hope she meets Mr. Right and knows it fairly quickly. ;) Paybacks are hell, you know. :p

I have no clue. LOL! I guess that wasn't the important date to me. :teeth:

January 12, 2002 - just a little over a year ago! :)

4 months to go until the big day!

July 26, 1986, my 22nd birthday. We got "married" a few days later. We were living in Europe at the time, but what we didn't realize is that you have to be residents of France for at least a year to be considered legally married. So we got married again, with all the bells and whistles, in August of 1987. :)
