Inspired by Tone of some of the Threads

We have never had cable or a dish. We get educational videos from the library and we rent movies once in awhile. I have been letting DSs watch movies that are out of my 'interest zone' as they get older and they are always disappointed in the types of movies their friends are raving about that they just have to see. They have had library cards since they started walking and they love going to the library. They have been discovering classic literature lately and are just amazed at the wealth of stories out there! For the last few years, we have played Nintendo family games with them thru the winter and have had a blast. They probably sound boring but my guys are the sweetest kids and are a real joy to be around. I only hope we have established a lifestyle and interests they will continue when they leave our home.

I was watching Brady Bunch the other day and Marcia's dress was SOOOOOOOOOOO short! If my dd wore that to middle school today, I'd get a phone call to come pick her up.
