I wasn't going to go all into this but since you think the cops should have been called on us:
The morning after the 1 incident and calling the cops, his DF came over to my house and yelling at me why i called the cops. Now this is a grown man and his daddy is coming over and doing this. i told him we are a quiet cul de sac, familys and firecrackers shooting over our houses at 2 am isn't cute. then he decided to be funny and said he could shoot them anywhere anytime, so yes they got it to-since his DF was so nice and insisted fireworks could be set off at anytime.
Well, to be honest, I couldn't follow your posts at all. They are very confusing. I didn't know that the fireworks were being set off in your yard. I thought you were just doing it because the guy was a lazy moocher, and that was why you were doing it. If you had been setting off fireworks in my yard for no apparent reason, yes, I would have called the cops. You should have called on the people doing it, too, like every time it happened.
(They are illegal to set off here, so I don't know if that makes a difference in my thinking - are they legal there?)

I guess I was feel a bit overambitious today.
So the guy is reluctantly trying to clean the PACKED snow off our car and I am yelling and my DH to stop and he did, but he wouldn't clean off the guys car...then they had some words and it was over. LOL...I'm from FL...so I thought maybe we were in the wrong and that there as some unspoken rule about parking in from of people's houses and that the guy had a right to be upset...but ALL of DH's family said that the guy was wrong and that he was being the ****** so I let it go.
