No resort pool hopping. Really, I'm paying big bucks to stay in the World, and I can't swim in any pool on property? That's like saying someone can't drive on a certain road, or can't eat in a particular restaurant just because they aren't staying at that resort...
I think it's silly for people to get up in arms about someone stopping on the sidewalk to read their map, etc. Just go around!! What's the big deal??
I think the issue is that when you're walking on the sidewalk, you're not expecting someone in front of you to all of a sudden stop. I think all people are asking is that someone who wants to stop to look at a map should step to the side.

Same thing with the kids too old for strollers or kids on a leash. I am too busy having fun with MY OWN kid to notice- or care- what other families are doing with their kids. It's their decision- why should I care?
I think the difference here is that when you eat at a particular restaurant at a resort, you are paying for that experience. If it's an expensive restaurant, everyone who eats there pays the expensive price. However, someone could pay for a value resort and then jump over to a deluxe resort to use the pool. They aren't paying for the nicer pool. They are paying for the value pool. It's not fair to those who ARE paying for the deluxe pool. I think that's why a lot of people get miffed.
I am sorry but I just DON'T see how it can even be nice to pool hop? I mean what do you do ~ get on the bus will everything you might need for the day in your swimsuit? Do you ride the bus back wet or change in the bathroom?
It doesn't even seem pleasurable to me. I like to be near my STUFF!
And do you bus to a park and THEN bus to another resort? Too much work in my book.
By this logic of you get what you pay for... should guests then be able to hop to equal resorts? i.e. value to value deluxe to deluxe?

This was the only part directed towards your post.
The rest is just kinda a general rambling I guess.. LOL! I just don't see how fun it could be!
OT:
We discovered BCV and SAB in September and just LOVE both. I just think the layout of the kiddie pool area is fantastic.
Yes, I will go find a table that will fit my entire family and claim it while DH takes the kids to get their food. And I will sit there with the stroller and wait for them to find me, then go get my own food, and join my family at the table I reserved that will allow all six of us to sit together.![]()
But pro-all-Guest. Since your issue has nothing to do with 'too many people in line/antsy kids' (an extremely common objection), next time you go to Walt Disney World, try this experiment at ONE counter service meal: have the whole family get in line; order food; pay for food; obtain food; go get table. You WILL still find a table, easily. It bugs me that they won't allow it. Another anti-family move by WDW IMHO.
