My name is okay. It is me and that's fine. Sounds fine, looks fine. But I must not speak very clearly, because many people misunderstand me when I give my name, and then there is a question of spelling (even though I have the most common spelling). Plus, at one of my jobs, I was one of eight Karens in a company of 150 people.

I like my name, my mom thought it wouldn't be that common of a name and I ended up having 3 people in my high school that had the same name. The only reason why I don't like my name is because several people can't spell it, oh ya and people like to call me Heidi Ho.

Me too! I've never liked my name. I've actually had people INSIST that my name can't possibly be just Cindy and that's it's Cynthia. I say no it's not. Then I get "Well then, what does it say on your birth certificate?" Again I say Cindy, it says Cindy!!!!

My father wanted to name me Anne, my mother said no, how about Erica. My father said no how about Mary, my mom says no and comes back with Nicole. So my dad says no. I don't know where they came up with Cindy. I accuse them of getting tired of looking in name book so they just quit in the C's and settled on Cindy.
