...and my recent post about the new tat I want What tats do you have? Pictures please if you have them. ..and do they mean anything to you?

Here is my first but won't be the last. It's what I always wanted. Just took me some time to find the right pic and the right artist. I've been through a lot and I'm stil here and going strong. So this is the angel on my shoulder that takes care of me. Please excuse the band-aid. Cat decided to "play" on my back. I had the need for more band-aids a little before this pic was taken. Freakin' felines.

I have 4-only one I'd change is the first one which I got in high school. I have a heart w/ a knife through it (I really wanna get this one covered up), a dolphin jumping through the surf (around my belly button and 2 naval rings), Tinkerbell on my shoulder blade and MIckey on my left ankle. Want 2 more I think plus a cover up of the first one.

I don't have pics that I can post, but I have 3. Right leg, just above the ankle bone, an Egyptian Eye of Horus. Left leg, again above the ankle, the symbol from Duran Duran's New Moon on Monday video, and above that, a sun, for Reach Up For the Sunrise. I want another tat (this time not Duran Duran related!), but I can't decide where. I'm looking for another job, so that rules out the one I wanted on my inner wrist. Back of the neck, top of the foot...? And I don't know what I want. I'd love to get one of David Bowie...I just can't decide if I want him as Ziggy Stardust or Jareth from Labyrinth.

Wow..some of these are so pretty. I'm considering getting a tatt when I turn 30 in two years. I've been searching the internet (to almost no success ) for a non-scary, non-creepy looking joker or clown. I kind of want to do either a joker/clown or maybe a joker card with my son's name and birthday (April 1st, which is also April Fool's Day).

Mine, just out of the chair this past February (that's ink, not bruising under the tat). My first. Don't know if I'll ever find anything I like enough to get a second. Got this one after 2 1/2 years of thought. Piracy and maritime history have become a very large part of my life since the first POTC movie came out. I also feel that it's highly beneficial to take a piratical attitude toward life, so I wanted to carry this with me to remind me.

I have 4 and am about to get another one. I have the following:

Shamrock - right ankle
Tribal - lower back
Chinese symbol (love) - back of neck
Chinese symbols (born of the heart - adoption quote that I had translated) - inside wrist

In the next few weeks, I will be getting:

Sancte Hieronyme Aemiliane
Ora pro Nobis

That is translated from Latin as Saint Jerome Emiliani, Pray for Us. St. Jerome is the Patron Saint of Orphans, something that has become very close to my heart. I plan on getting that on the inside of my right arm, under the elbow.

That is the one I am most excited about and will be most proud of. I am trying to narrow down a few fonts that I want to use.
