I will start the night before I leave. How early do you start? Do you over pack or a light traveler? I'm a light traveler especially since I have to lug my own suitcase.

I usually pack a week before I go on vacation. In fact, I leave for vacation next Saturday, so I should get packing! I'm also one that likes to overpack, because I'm annoying and like to wear about 3 outfits a day, and I need a lot of things to choose from.

the night before. i try to pack lightly, but i'm not obsessed with it.

2 days before. The night before I go shopping for stuff I need.

I did that??? I am NOT a packer, usually the day I am leaving (most often head to Milwaukee in the evening for early AM flight the following day.

Night before....I always make a list because I usually forget something important like my glasses or charger for my cell phone.

I make a list of everything I am going to need a month before. Then I get everything and put it in a box in my room. Then, 4 days before the trip I do all the wash. I pack the kids 2 days before we leave and I pack DH and I the night before.

I am a light packer for me and DH, but the kids I over pack.

Usually a day or so before I leave, but when we go to Disney, I'm sure it'll be at least a week prior to leaving!

I usually get my clothes out and ready from about 2 weeks before we go (I put them into a seperate wardrobe in our spare room) so that I can sort out what I really need to take (I always pack way too much!) Then I will pack properly the day before we go. I usually end up with a lot of clothes in the spare wardrobe and then over the 2 weeks gradually take some out as I coordinate my skirts/trousers/shorts with my tops. When we went to WDW last year my suitcases had heavy lables put on them by the airport staff!!

Well I have already though out all the outfits I plan to wear on the DCL in October. I bought a cute swimsuit oufit to wear. But there is one problem, I haven't even booked the airline tickets yet or have paid to have me added on to my parents room. Must do that soon, especially before picking out outfits to wear. In all reality I won't pack the outfits until 2 nights before I leave!!

I usually start the toiletries bag about 3 weeks in advance. The clothes that dont matter like socks, bathing suits, etc... maybe 2 weeks in advance, and then the clothes that will wrinkle a few days to a week in advance. Usually all the clothes are done over a period of a few days since I pack for myself and the kids.

Ive started a pack list and we dont leave for another 75 days. I swear to myself this time that we arent going to over pack. We stop for a couple of days at the beach before we get to WDW so I have to pack strategically in different bags. Since we are going in the fall I can start packing the summer stuff way early.

I pack light and pack the night before we leave.

I usually pack the night before and depending on how early we leave I'll sometimes pack the day of the trip.

Hi All!

I just got back from WDW July 18th. I have still not unpacked, I think I will just leave it and add jeans, and sweatshirts, to the shorts, and tee shirts for my December trip!!!!! Then I'm pretty much packed!! I will have to add some unmentionables!!

What do you think??

And I am already packed for it.::yes:: I just have to add some Jeans and a light Jacket, thats it.:p

Those of you who pack way in advance must have more clothes than I do. I might throw a few things in a bag a week prior to a trip (razor, small toothpaste, etc.) but the clothes go in no more than 24-48 hours in advance. I'm a recovering over-packer, so I try to pack light. After all, WDW has plenty of places for me to buy a few things:earsboy:

I can't stand to pack. I'm lucky if I'm not still packing on the way to the airport :teeth:

me~ about a month or so... already have the packing list going..
my daughter~ the day before....no packing list for her (even though I printed one for her too). :teeth:
