They asked me to stay on. So I have a job now and it's not just for the Christmas season.
It's still only part time, but for my daughter's sake, it is for the best. The hours are wacko too, but for the people that take care of my girls, it works out better this way. I am not relying on one sole person to take care of them.
And for some odd reason my husband has been cooperative with watching them. I don't understand why now and not the last 5 years, but I'm grateful for my girl's sake. They have a dad now.
I like the people I work with, and they like me. I like the job itself, most of the time, and I have to get out of my jeans and tennis shoes. It's a good thing.
Oh, and my feet don't hurt until the 7th hour of being on my feet now.
