what country would you pick ?

I would have to go with Australia ! Of course beautiful British Columbia is very close.........

Probably Italy. Having lived there for a couple of years, I know the country pretty well, and also I have relatives there so I wouldn't feel isolated.

I would love to live in France. I think it's the only way I'm going to learn the language. I know it's not the best pick for quality of life, but I could always move (after I became fluent, since that's been a goal for a long time).

Florida!! Oh wait, that's not a country is it!!!;) :p

I'd have to say I'd go to Canada.....lot of nice folks live up there from what I've come to learn from these boards!!:D

Probably Scotland.... I really cant say how safe it might be, but it certainly looks peaceful. DH's ancestors came from there, and there are lots of McLellans still there.... we could probably scare up a few cousins.:D

Sicily would be my second choice, I loved living there!

I voted for England too, but its cloudy there isn't it? I might have to choose Sweden too.;)

I would love to live in Florence Italy but since two Italian teachers told me to give up on the language before I mutilated it any more, I am not sure how well I would do.

My second choice would be the Netherlands. Spent 3 months there when I was in college and loved it.

First choice Canada. Second choice Australia.

I'd probably go to Canada.

I'd move to Latvia. My father was Latvian, and I went over last summer to scatter his ashes. Such a beautiful country.....but I don't think I'll ever get used to fish for breakfast. Pass the oatmeal, please! I actually do plan to live there some day....its on my list of "Places to Live for 1 year Once The Kids Are Grown & Gone" (Boston, NYC, BVI, and Key West being the others....so far!)

Move back to Hong Kong. (And a new Disneyworld is waiting for me there!)

Costa Rica. We already have the property there :)

England. I've lived there, and spent a lot of time there on vacation so I wouldn't have to worry about adjusting. It would be almost like going home :)

HA Ha

Since I'm in Canada now...I can say I would move to the USA and live near Disney World.;)

And yes...Us Canadians are very nice. We have to be. It is the LAW!:jester:

<font color=navy>Probably Spain... I've lived there for a year, and I have relatives there, and when we go we're very comfortable, plus the country is beautiful, and lifestyle is so much more laid back than here ...

Of course, visiting with that return ticket is one thing. I don't know if I could ever commit to leaving the USA - I'm just too American. :)
