Got a quick update for yall on the "new" guy. He called me earlier this afternoon to talk and asked what I was up to later. Since my evening was going to consist of laundry and watching tv, he asked if I would like to go out with him instead. So I said yes. We went to the movies, and then grabbed coffee and talked for quite a few hours. He's a really sweet guy. Funny, intelligent, and he's pretty darn cute too. A little on the younger side, but it will be ok. Had a great time with him tonight. So far the "new" guy has brought his "A" game and looks promising. But we shall see what happens.

Just popped in to give you guys an update. Heading to bed now. Night!

And why on earth would you want to date when you already have someone at home who doesn't mind that you wake up with bed head and dookie breath? who knows what you look like without all the spackle on your face? who knows all your flaws but loves you anyways? But if you really want to date, I wont tell your DH.

Dating can be fun, but it ain't easy. What to see the battle scars?

The grass is always greener.
That and my dh has been gone for about 6 weeks with about 9 left to go.

OK- no Stace- you are not a loser. I just can't stay awake past, oh, 9:30.

I puked all day today.

And I'm feeling very guilty- my poor pup has not been getting near the love or attention she is used to and I feel awful. But she just has so much energy and I just don't right now. Poor girl. Plus, she steps all over me and is a total clutz and I'm so not in the mood. I feel like a bad mommy.

Beck - sorry you are not feeling very good. I hope it is just the first trimester stuff. My first I had morning sickness all day, every day! But not the second.

Wish me luck! I was supposed to get some test results today but the dr's office said they didn't have them yet - hopefully tomorrow. I HATE waiting for results from the doctors office!

Yeah, I love the excitment of the first kiss. From the time he kissed my hand, to us walking on the top deck, I was already anticipating it. And then when he asked what I would say if he asked if he could kiss me.....my heart was racing and I was feeling all googlie eye. There is nothing like the first kiss. I also love the excitment of being with someone. And always hope that never ends. The butterflies you get. I love the butterflies.

Someone once told me that the butterflies you get was just your independence leaving you.

And yeah, I would give anything for someone to take me dookie breath, bed head and all, over first kiss. I can always look back and remember the first kiss. Its much easier than imagining someone being ok with exactly how I wake up in the morning.

I had a chocodile today, and it was divine!!! I dont think I ever had one before. And I am sooooo sure its not on my diet. But it was yummy and I dont regret scarfing it down one bit. MMMMM!

Baseball team lost tonight. UGH! We were doing great for 3 innings, then blah. Had a few bad calls by the ump. And the other team definately had no sportsmanship. Very disappointing. Oh well. We will just have to see them in tournament.

My house is insane. It thinks it is on fire for a couple seconds every few hours. Screeeech!


Last night on the news they talked about an ambulance that was carjacked by a psych patient (she actually got on the radio and talked to the cops!). I'm pretty sure this is the same company that had the ambulance driver that hit the trauma patient when pulling up to the scene of the accident at Christmas. Bad luck for this company or do they need to train their drivers better? You make the call!

I remember Chocodiles from high school Going to the gas-n-shop and getting an RC cola (yes, I grew up in the south, haha).

Crazy ambulance story! I am glad I don't live there and might need help one day (ours are all volunteer )

What is everyone doing this weekend? Not too much - have to get dd from camp tomorrow, had our last softball game last night (lost REALLY bad) and have to pack for 10 day trip we are leaving on next week.

Chocodiles are a confection created by the Hostess company. They resemble the ever popular Twinkie product. The Chocodile is Twinkie shaped, but is a white cake instead of the yellow sponge cake that makes up the twinkie. The cake is covered in chocolate and, unlike the Twinkie which is sold in packages of 2 or 3 cakes, the Chocodile is sold individually.

The Chocodile mascot was Chauncey Chocodile, but Hostess has removed him from packaging and the website in recent years. Also, since the late 1990s, Chocodiles are no longer sold on the East Coast of the United States. Hostess has only a few West Coast factories making them now. To ensure the products' freshness, Chocodiles are only sold on the West Coast.

Some people on the East Coast of the United States have resorted to buying boxes of Chocodiles on eBay and from www.freshchocodiles.com and have even started an online petition to bring Chocodiles back to the East Coast.
