So how long of a drive is it for you to WDW?

A little over an hour, if I drive the speed limit and there are no construction hold ups.

I really am not a nazi-planner by any means (especially compared to 99% of the DIS :rotfl2: ), but I ALWAYS have to be at the parks at opening to do what we really want to do with no wait. It's a sickness, I tell you.

I did not appreciate being so close to Disney when I was (I lived in Ocala when I was in high school). I hope you two have fun tomorrow!

Not when you have small children!

He's not 44"?

My son is excited about riding EE. Actually, I haven't told him that I'm bringing him to WDW. Guess I should do that, since it's in 12 days away. I only booked yesterday, though, so I really haven't been putting it off.

My son really wants to ride RnR, but I don't know that he'll be quite tall enough.

My big fear right now is that the girls are going to freak out and not want to ride anything.

I was in Ocala on Wednesday! (Actually, I drove through it on the way to see a client, but I did stop at convenience stores there on the way there and the way back. :teeth: )

I am sure we will have fun. Aiden has not been to AK since he was 2, and doesn't really remember it. We pulled up the Disney website today and looked at the attraction videos, and he has already decide what we must do.

Oh, and that we are having popcorn for lunch. :rotfl:

Oh my gosh, until I got to the DIS, I had no idea how militant people are about planning their trips sometimes!!

I have just been very lucky the 2 trips I have had, because we had VERY manageable crowds both times, and dh and I are "go with the flow" people. In fact, this trip is the first time I made ADR's.

I'm going to the first yard sale of the season tomorrow.

I love a yard sale. I love to buy cheap furniture and clean it up and repaint it. Last year I bought a sewing table for 5 dollars. I scrubbed it up, sanded it down, and painted it white, and it is so cute.

My inlaws are the masters of redoing yardsale furniture though. They have found some of the neatest things. FIL made a quilt rack out of a twin headboard/footboard they bought for a couple of bucks.

Holy Cow...11 days in the hospital! Well, maybe you figured you survived the worst...that is why you don't enforce the helmet rule!
When the kids were learning to ride, and falling all the time, they had to wear them.

I just know that when they're older, once they're out of sight of the house, they'll take it off if they want to. I would have. So, why bother?

My kids think they have it soo rough.

I'm really tired. Goodnight, all!

:)

Becky,
Good luck with your garage sale! I love them too and hope to hit a few tomorrow myself.

Good night everyone! kristen

Goodnight all.

Sadly, I'm still wide awake.... One of these days I will have a normal sleep pattern!

My kind of kid--popcorn for lunch! Jake has always been great at snacking for meals at WDW, unlike my older kids who get grouchy when not given meals at regular times. I'm on medication that decreases my appetite, so I'm hoping that Jake and I can share some meals or I'll end up wasting a lot of food.

Becky, how old are the girls that you are bringing to WDW?

Boy, I am! Bob Sehlinger doesn't have a bigger fan than I. The UG is totally my bible (and I get really pissed when it is "off" about something, which is super-rare).

Not only do I use my UG like a fanatic, I also schedule all our ADRs months out. I plan CS lunches, too. I plan breaks if I go with a smoker.

There isn't a single move made that I didn't plan. Well, if we're way ahead of schedule, we'll squeeze something extra in.

I don't plan at all. Our last trip in Jan. we didn't even know if we were going for sure until about 3 days before we left.

I will pray for you!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I hope Sylvester doesn't find out what your Bible really is...

Before my trip I plan to have a rough idea of which parks on the different days, but I will leave it flexible. Usually I leave a day open at the end :lmao: , but this time I will probably have all the days be more flexible. We'll arrive at MCO before 11AM on a Wednesday (should be in the parks by 1PM) and fly out the following Tuesday evening at 6PM, so we'll have 5 full days and 2 partial days. Not sure how I'll plan it.

Sylvester, may he RIP, has gone to the Great Posting Board in the sky.

I leave one day open - our last day - and let everyone (or whoever I'm with) decide what they want to go back and do. They always pick Universal :(.

All the kids like popcorn, but I have one that would make it the staple of his diet, if he could. He stops at every popcorn place in WDW. And every French Fry place, too!

Oh, no, I had no idea! You know, it's all your fault...it's because you've been praying for him with your hand on the UG! :lmao:

Had nothing to do with me. We got along fine. And I'll continue to pray for him. :)

Silly girl, I don't pray with my hand on the UG! That's when you go to court and they swear you in! Do you promise to get up early, take a break, and not waste any time?...............I DO!

I pray to MICKEY! "Oh, Mickey, please help all the people of the planet to get along just like you and pluto and goofy. Forgive us for our Donalds."

I worship Mickey, the UG is my bible, and every so often I MUST make a pilgramage!;) :) I have even attended the holy Mickey Supper (CMs). :)

And ya know, I'm not, like, super-religious. I consider myself fairly religious. I'm not Joe or anything. (Not that there's anything wrong with Joe.)

I'm back from AK and DTD, and very tired. My son, on the other hand, is still full of energy.
