Inspired by being a thread highjacker- the OT thread!

You know I was actually going to watch Toby just for you, but I conked out. I had a headache and I was so tired. Too much sun yesterday while I was cleaning out my car I think.

One less pale Midwesterner!!

What is your topic for Stupid Crap Day?

Everything Nobody Cares About Regarding: Total Parenteral Nutrition (a way of "feeding" people - giving them nutrients - intravenously, if they can't digest them in the intestines)

So, so stupid. And I'm supposed to provide a visual! They even suggested I do it with Power Point! I was like, are you nuts? I don't know how to do that. Ug.

So, I'm typing it up, and printing it out. I'll find some clipart or picture of a nurse doing ANYTHING with ANY kind of line and stick it in there somewhere. That's my flippin' visual.

Beck, you shoulda taped TK. He was looking goooo-ooood.:)

Mmmm. Visuals at a luncheon. What a wonderful idea!!! :lmao:

I have about 21 new articles that I just printed out concerning sex ed in America that I have to read, as well as re-reading about 15 or so old articles that I already had from a previous paper. The Journal Of Sex Research. I want to get a job there.

Ah, yes. Paper recycling. I was the queen of it. With a few minor tweaks, I was able to turn in the same paper in Anatomy, Microbiology, and Bio-Ethics. :)

:thumbsup2 Love it. Though I am scared to try it now since all papers are run through some sort of 'intelligent' software that scans all of the history of the schools papers (and many others as part of some sort of evil consortium). You know, they are making it VERY difficult to cut and paste off the web, darn it :confused3

You are going to research sex for a living? I need to make you my new best friend.

Stupid Crap Day. :rotfl2: Can we make that an official holiday. Because then I would NEVER have to go to work. :teeth:

Ugh. I have to work again tomorrow. For Free. But right now I'm looking up names for a possible puppy.

But if we celebrated Stupid Crap Day, what would we do with the other 12 days of the year?

I thought it was Bergie?

I'm having second thoughts on Bergie. Mostly because a lot of the time I call Bogart, Bogie and I don't want to confuse them with Bogie Bergie....Soooo... I'm trying to find something that is different that sounds different from anything I call Bogart.

AH yes, that could be confusing.

I never call Jules just "Jules." It's always "Jules-head" or "Puppers" or "Sugar Bear."

Not sure why we even named her.... :rotfl:

Yeah sometimes I call Bogart "Baby Precious Head" Or "Mommie's little Presh". He'll answer to anything.

I rarely call my dog by his real name either. His name is Bingo, most of the time we call him Bing Bing. :rotfl2: Or we call him puppy, or sweetie, or baby...

I used to have a dog named Sebastian. But we called him Moose all the time. :confused3 I don't even remember why we started that, but I guarantee you if you called him Sebastian, he had no idea who you were talking to. :rotfl:

Well, kids, I'm afraid I'm out early tonight. I'm beat, and I have about a zillion freaking journal articles to read. At least I'm interested in the state of America's sex education (or lack thereof).

See ya tomorrow!

Moose!? :rotfl2:

Although I'm one to be laughing I'm thinking of naming my dog Minerva.

shadow kitty got his name because he follows me around,, and is black and grey, he gets called boy. fat cat, shadow man, little man, buddy, htrow rug, fluff ball, and he refuses to acknowledge us till we get to shadow, call him shadow kitty and hes all attention.

The sweetpea's dog's name is Harrison. Actually, its Harrison Ford. My kid is wierd and she named him. We got himi from the pound, death row dog to be honest. When we found him she called him by his name and the stupid dog answered. Thats how we knew he was our dog. We call him Harrison usually or Harry. LIke Harry the Dirty Dog. When the sweetpea is mad at her dog (like on the poop patrol days) she just yells "HARE" and he knows to come in.
