but budweiser/ and most AB beers are made with arkansas rice and hops.....

But I really, really, really like dark beer. There's something called Foster's Black in Australia - it may even be stronger than Guinness! I loved it when I was working there.

Berry blast from BJ's. But if Im not drinking there, then I like Bud Light in a bottle.

Hefeweizen UFO.

I went to Boston University. We have a pub on campus with 52 kinds of beer. If you can drink them all (not in one night), you get annointed a knight. I did it - one of a few low number of women to accomplish this task. The UFO was my favorite. I finally found it in bottles and I've been drinking it and reliving my college days ever since! :cheer2:

DH joined the World Beer Tour this year at our "local pub." I'm helping him out. He has to drink 100 beers before the end of the year to earn a jacket. We just joined at the end of May but are at 37 so we're doing pretty well! Here's the list if you're interested:

I'm a champagne girl myself but dh LOVES Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold from Cleveland Ohio. Since we're not in Ohio anymore he drinks Paulinaner (sp?) from Germany. We're thinking about getting the brewing stuff out and making our own again.

I can hijack my own thread. :teeth:

You are merely an accomplice, but you'd better plan on taking the heat if it comes down. ;)

BTW - beer is an open topic, you can say anything you want when you're drinking beer.

I travel frequently to Germany. They take beer real serious over there. I mostly enjoy the regional beers that most people in the USA have never heard of. My favorite brew is called Pfungstädter.

I agree with you, Taylor. I used to live in Germany and would just ask the server to bring me their favorite pils. I had some great beer over there. :teeth:

Here in the States, my favorite is Corona with lime.

Ice cold from the cooler Bud Light, esp. on the lake.
You can put them away and normally I don't drink but 1. On the lake, at least 3.:thumbsup2

I never heard of Blue Moon is it similar to Corona?

DH would definitely say Guiness, I am more undecided. I like Foster's, Dixie Blackened Voodoo, Duvel, Harp, Urbock 23 and Dos Equis.

The first choice is always DH's homebrew. If that's all gone(happens to us all the time) then we like most anything by Great Lakes, Rogue or Red Hook. And if I am lucky enough to be someplace that has Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on tap(not in bottle)that's my favorite. For the person who asked about Blue Moon, I think it is a Belgian Whit Ale, not at all like Corona. It is light and very refreshing after mowing. Ummm...beer......
