After much reading on this board and other research, this is what I am thinking so far for ADR's for our May trip (will be me, dh, ds (almost 5) and my sister traveling and we will be using the DP):

Day 1-Breakfast at Chef Mickeys
Day 2 Dinner at Brown Derby w/Fantasmic pkg
Day 2 Hoop Dee Doo musical revue
Day 4 off site
Day 5 Garden Grill dinner
Day 6 Crystal Palace breakfast OR Liberty Tree Tavern dinner

Any suggestions/input, things you would change? This is our first trip so I am overwhelmed by all the choices, also we are not getting the hopper passes so I am trying to plan meals for days we will be at those parks.
TIA, Patty

Crystal Palace for us was good. Nice character interaction. Nice variety of food. As far as LTT went there for lunch and LOVED their "sandwich heard around the world". I realize you are asking for dinner but just had to throw that in. popcorn::

I have heard mixed reviews on Garden Grill's lunches and dinners (Ive heard b'fast is good though

Chef Mickey's is a great choice - we do it every trip.

We did the Brown Derby Fantasmic package last year and it was definitely worth it - the food was fantastic.

We did the Hoop de Doo a few years ago, and it was the biggest rip off we've ever encountered. The entertainment is fun - the food is bad - and all you can eat and drink is so untrue. They simply pack so many people in that they don't have time to serve you all you can eat and drink at all. I just felt that it was Disney's way of cramming as many people in as possible and charging a fortune for not so great food.

Garden Grill - I liked it last time I was there, but haven't done it for a long time.

Crystal Palace - I love the setting but thought the standard of food had gone down at lunch last year. The food is usually pretty good at Liberty Tree tavern, and the atmosphere is great.

Chef Mickey's breakfast, Brown Derby and Hoop De Doo - three of my favorites. :thumbsup2

HDDR is one of those shows guests either love or hate. Personally, I loved it and so did DH who at times can be a little cranky. The fried chicken and cornbread are delicious. It's a show everyone should try at least once. JMO
