This thread is just turning silly. He's president now, and the debates have been long since over. If the media disgusts your or you feel the need to blow off some major political steam, then I suggest you go visit a political website instead.
On topic: Thanks for the coverage Pete![]()
Are you all still watching? Senator Kennedy had a seizure at the luncheon and has been taken to the hospital. It doesn't sound good, but they dont know details yet. How sad.

No insult intended. The sad truth is that a majority of voters had no idea of who he was or what his qualifications were, they still don't. They voted for the black guy, or sadly, against him, that's it. They had no idea who McCain or Biden even was.
And yes, they knew the pretty one (no argument here) because she was lambasted by the media regularly.
I really resent this comment. I helped with the campaign and talked to many people all over this country. They were fully aware of his policies and his qualifications as well as McCain's and Biden's. My husband is black and he didn't vote for either because he didn't like their collective policies. It's wrong to group people together as ignorant because they chose to vote for the other candidate. Should we blame every person who voted in Bush for the last 8 years of nonsense? Right now we need to come together and try to work on the daunting issues we have ahead of us.
Not to mention this is a huge moment in United States history. I would hope the crowd and the media would be just as large if Hillary Clinton would have gotten elected.
But this is not a debate for a disney board. This belongs on some right wing board where you can find lots of others who agree with your view.

On the plus side, they have been saying he was awake and 'seemed to be doing better' on his way to the ambulance. Let's hope so.
OK, I must admit, while I am excited about our new President, I just love all of the pomp and circumstance that goes with the inauguration! Just watched the fife and drum group march by and even that gives me chills!
