I am not sure if this is the place to ask , but I would like some advice on the different types of ink for rubber stamping. I have started a small cupcake business, and I found two cute rubber stamps that I would like to use for the boxes. The boxes are slightly glossy and when I use a pigment ink ( Ink it up!) even if I wait several hours the design smudges. Is there anything I can do or do I need another type of ink?

Thanks

Have you tried giving the ink a shot with your heat gun? Sometimes that will help it dry faster!

You may want to try Staz-On ink pads. You can stamp on just about any surface with them and it won't smudge.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I looked for the non pigment inks and stayz on. I could not find the colors that I wanted. I ended up going with markers that I can color the stamp and they dry pretty well. Thanks for your help.
