Information regarding Cash Nights

Hi~

I just wanted to share some information that member services told me today. I am using cash for the first two nights of our trip since we are coming in on a Friday. Well, I have been trying to get a cash discount rate for the the Saturday (I have received the discount for Friday night). The representative told me today that there is a new rule that if you have a cash discount night preceeding the other nights that you want to use cash for that they will give you the cash discount rate. She said that they decided that it didn't make sense for a member to have a discount rate, non discount rate, discount rate through their trip.

DVC Member cash rates are generally 25% off rack rate.

If I check CRO availability and they have what I want available, will DVC have it for a cash discount? I am just wondering since I have to wait until Monday to call member services. On disneyworld.com the accomodations I am looking for show up as available so I am just hoping when I call MS on Monday they too will have it, but with a 25% discount. Am I understanding this correctly?

It has been my understanding that DVC inventory and CRO inventory are separate. So, that being said, Good Luck Monday morning!
