Universal Orlando offers a 1 day/2 park ticket. This ticket is valid for one full sameday park-to-park admission to both Universal Orlando theme parks -- Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

The tickets can be purchased only at the gates or at www.aaa.com/universal. You need to be a AAA member to access the website.

According to the website, the ticket cost is:

Adults (Over 10 years old): $66.45 + tax
Children (ages 3-9): $56.95 + tax

I have an annual pass. Do you think I can get the 10% discount (for one- day passes) for a two park pass for my husband ?

Could not find the one day/2 park pass, just the 2 day 2 park. Am I missing something?

I just got an e-mail back from Universals Guest Services and they do have One day/two park passes. It's $69.95 plus tax for an Adult and $59.95 for a child. They can be purchased at the ticket booths.

This pass is excellent. We were able to arrive at opening and spent the day doing everything we wanted at both parks. Pleanty of time to enjoy everything.

MissDisney -

I am taking my mother in a wheelchair. She wants to go because she wants to see the King Kong ride and the Grinch stuff. I would like to ride the coasters.....I know Mom will want to see everything, but I think she might be a little bored at Islands of Adventure. ( Its my impression its more like a 6 flags). Is that true? This one day/two park pass might just be the right ticket. What do you think? :earsboy:

Sorry, King Kong is gone. Grinchmas is great, lots of eye candy! Islands of Adventure is incredible and should not be missed. No comparison to 6 Flags. The themeing alone makes this park a must see. Have a wonderful trip! :)

hey..my husband and I were thinking about getting that pass..but we gave never been to universal before..may i please ask what did you do when you were there?I have a list of rides, water rides, shows, and attractions that we wanna do...I just dont want to run myself ragged.....help please!:)

If you have never been, I would definitely try to go more than one day. That pass for two parks in one day is better for people who have been, and want to go back to do their favorites, IMO.

You will love both parks. There is so much to do!

Hi, allisonwonderland, IMO if you will be there for more than 2 days, not in prime season, get a restricted AP for $109+/- available on their website, or at the hotel. for just a few $$ more you can go all you want.

My favorite IOA ride is the Spiderman ride (when it is working right...I rode it once with the tracking off, and my DW got sick from going up and down at the same time!?!

Must do...Stay on property for the FOTL pass...it is worth it especially if you are only there for one day.

:bounce:

First question: Are there any other discounts available for the one day/two parks pass besides AAA or annual pass?

Second question: What of the following is the best deal moneywise for a group of six (over nine) individuals who visit Universal about once every three years and only need a one day pass for two parks for upcoming trip:
One day/two park pass?
Mastercard get 5 for 4 and save extra days for later trip?
Universal 2-day/2-park pass and save extra day for later trip?
Sam's Club (2-day/2-park pass?) and save extra day for later trip?

I'll break down the math if no one else has already! Thanks.

I've searched everywhere for a discount on the 1 day/2 park tickets, i don't think there are any discounts for these. I did not want to wait in line at the park to buy them so I called to see about any discount anywhere. There are none, but you can now order them over the phone directly from Universal. they just started this a week ago. They were regular price, plus a one time $2 handling fee. They arrived in less than a week. there are 6 of us going as well but we only spend one day at Universal each time we go so this was the best option. NOt sure if all 6 of us will be going again in the future.
